Portland Head Light in Cape Elizabeth

Situated along the picturesque shores of Fort Williams Park, Portland Head Light is the oldest and most famous lighthouse in Maine. Built in 1791, its white conical tower and red roof keeper's house continue to shine like a beacon against the backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean. This historic site features a museum with interpretive displays and a gift shop featuring local art and Maine related goods for sale.
